Can't get on UKY from home

I'm having similar problems to Geeta's now.  

Sometimes I get the 'unable to connect' message, and other times it just times out. If I refresh the page enough times, it will work, but it seems to time out whenever I press post - and I lose whatever I've just posted.

I can't wait to get home now!

This is the problem that I'm having! I've rebooted my modem/router and still having the same problems.

Maybe the internet is really busy/slow due to the Windows 7 launch today?

Plausible, however UKY is the only site that I'm having problems with...all others are functioning normally for me.

Me too...having the same issues and only with UKY.   

I've opened a ticket to have an engineer check on it.

Leah I forgot - since I can't get on UKY, I can't PM you...can you PM me your email address?

I'm also just reading that the datacenter (The Planet) has been having these issues in general the last couple of days.

If those who are having issues could PM me traceroutes as explained earlier, I can pass these to the technicians, who are waiting for these in order to troubleshoot the problem.

I won't be able to do that until this afternoon, but I'll send them to you then.

It's a bit better this morning, but still more sluggish than normal - and definitely more sluggish than any other sites/pages.

I was having this exact problem for ages, couldn't get on at home at all.
I had the boyfriend change our DNS server to Open DNS and that fixed the problem.

It's working fine for me now, so I have no idea what the problem was. 

Leah fixed it!  I can get on again!  I was being blocked!  (damn that Mindy)
