I think it depends on the individual animals. Whenever I introduce cats to my dog, they're terrified of him (since he's big) for a few days, and then it occurs to them that he has yet to even sniff them. After another day or so, they're bugging him and rubbing all over him, which is when he starts sniffing them and saying hi.

You may have to watch them closely for a few days/weeks, and introduce the concept to Freya that "her" cat is not to be chased (which may or may not be a success). Or who knows, Coco may just put Freya in her place and that'll be the end of it.

Also, you can get various herbal/hormonal sprays that can help keep animals calm. The cat one is called Feliway, and I know there's one for dogs but I can't remember the name. At any rate, it may help keep tempers even, until they adjust to each other.

Hope that helps. :)
