I voted Maybe because I'm terrible at posting things, but I will change my vote to yes and make sure I get off my butt.  :)

I'd like to participate, but I'll be gone from December 7th. Any chance that you'd have the list ready before then so I could get mine out before I go?  :)

We can try!!

If I keep this poll open until the end of the week, I can give people another 3-4 weeks to sign up officially. Then I think I can manage to get the list ready the first week of December!

Cool, are recipients matched up at random (names out of a hat kinda thing)?
I think that would be more fun than putting friends together etc :)

It's totally at random! Always!! With the exception that I do try to match up UK people with UK people, and US people with US people. I just hope we get an even number of each!

If it comes to it, I'll be in the US from 26 Dec, so I could be counted as a US person if people didn't mind getting their gift a bit late. (But then there are so many on-line stores to use in the US it would probably be fine ;D)

I would love to do a gift exchange! Do we just get the persons name and address or will we have some sort of idea what there into (to help pick out a gift for them)? Or just random silly gifts?

We usually let people post on the thread with their likes and dislikes, so whoever gets their name has a bit of guidance. I think we need something like that because you often get the name of a person you don't know at all well. Silly gifts are always good fun, but at the same time you don't want to waste your money on something that isn't appreciated.  :)

As I said, I'll probably keep this poll going until the end of the week, then I'll start a new official thread, OK?

This is going to be fun. :)
For what its worth Helen, if you have an odd number or whatever, or find someone else who doesn't mind... I don't mind sending my gift overseas. :)

I'm a maybe.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Thanks! That's so nice! I usually appoint myself as the fill-in person for odd numbers, but it's lovely of you to offer! And, as Stacey said, there are so many online places you can order from that deliver to both the US and UK, so hopefully it won't be a problem for anyone.  :-*

Me either. :) I'll still be in the States this year. :(
