not me, i went to the game last year and we decided to do the real thing instead this year....got tickets for Eagles v Redskins whilst in the US for Thanksgiving!

Far cheaper as well as the whole weekend cost £400 last year, taking into account train and hotel fees. Given we are already in the Philly area then the only expense are the game tickets which are slightly cheaper!

Yup, we're going!  I'll be the guy in the Tony Romo jersey sitting on the 50 in the upper deck.  :)

Enjoy the Eagles/Redskins game, TykeMan!  Which team are you supporting, and are they your regular team (can't remember who your team is)?

Sounds like they're sold out!

Anyone know if it's televised?  I thought it was last year, I'm sure we watched the game, not highlights - but can't remember which channel and haven't been able to track it down yet...

I signed up to the NFL UK website's newsletter.

http://www.nfluk.com/

I got an email months ago that asked if I was interested in buying tickets, then another one later on with a code to get into the Ticketmaster pre-sale the day before tickets went on sale to the public back in January.

I saw some tickets for sale on one of the Facebook expat American groups the other day:

It's the third post down on the wall (assuming you're on Facebook).  Might be worth a look.

It's on Sky Sports 3, BBC Radio and 5 Live Sports Extra (whatever that is):

Thanks for the info! I will look into it for next year a bit late now I'm afraid.

I just went to the nfluk.com site, and clicked on the tickets link...

And they seem to have tickets left!!! 95 pound & 75 pound tix. I was only looking for one ticket, but they seem to have released some decent seats if people can make plans to go...

Thanks, I'm a Saints fan (so enjoyed Wembley last year)....I'll be rooting for the Eagles seeing as that's DW's team.

don't really understand this- isn't this a regular season game?  The Pats always play to win so I'm expecting a good game.

I mean in terms of the atmosphere, game experience etc. Last years was a good game, but the experience was nothing compared to the 2 NFL games I've been to in the States. So we decided to save the £400+ it would cost us for the Wembley game and get tickets for Philadelphia instead.

35-7, and it wasn't even really that close.  TykeMan, you were probably smart to hold out for the Philly game.  :)
