My mom is a HUGE musical fanatic.  It's almost an obsession.  So, much like Mrs. R, I grew up with them.  I do like them, but tend to favor the more modern/unusual ones over the Rogers & Hammerstein-esque ones.

And I know this makes me a heretic, but I hate Sondheim.  It's like listening to a rhyming dictionary for three hours.

You're right Abby Normal. I bet it could make a person go insane. I found a vid he did for Desperate Housewives, no Im not a fan just thought it was a good start to see what it was like. So here is a link to that.
