Alone due to the time diff....
« on: October 24, 2009, 06:55:22 AM »
I'm doing a 12 hour shift at the mo and Im 5 hours behind the UK. It is now 1:52 a.m and I am officially bored. I can't find the fast forward button. So to get my time moving till I can go home and go to bed I figured I would post some things or do some replies.

Is there anyone out there right now? Some of you might be coming on in a couple of hours. Talk to me about something anyone?

Give me a wake up call, please and thank you.

HEY! GOOD MORNING WAKEY WAKEY

YOU UP?

What would you like to talk about?

Dark?

It is pitch black out there. Sometimes think I live in a black hole. Ya know it's like it just sucks all the darkness in the universe to here. Oh it is pretty good at sucking all the rain into this place.

Still there? Good. Thought I might have scared you away with all this gloomy dark stuff.

Gotta to go up town. Gonna try and get up there early. I absolutely hate the High Street after 10am on a Saturday. Def not my cup of tea. Just not really a tea drinker.

OK wake up and say somethin'

Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.

I did have something to do but forgot my materials. I was going to decorate one of our doors for Halloween. There is a contest and I figured I had a lot of time on my hands on these weekend shifts.

I really do like talking so please feel free to chat bring up anything you can think of, If you don't mind I would like to ask things as well. That way Im not hoggin all the conversation. I will be leaving in 3 hours but will be back sunday am.

Sausages sounds good ya know. Make a person hungry ;D

Have a great morning!

12 hour shifts are killers... i've never had to do them, but some of my friends do, so I sympathise.

My day?   It's quite grey out, but i live across the road from a park, and all the trees are going different autumnal colours and it's pretty.  I like to sit at the window and watch the squirrels scampering about.
I've just had a bath and a cuppa, and am getting ready to go to a beer festival today.  My boyfriend just texted me to say he's making some sandwiches to take to the beer fest, and what kind did i want?  He's so lovely and thoughtful... i'm very lucky!

Hope the rest of your shift goes quickly... and that you get a good sleep when you get home.  :)

Hello Q-G!

The autumn does sound nice there. We aren't quite there yet, one minute its 80F the next its 42F. The way you and my fiance talk about the weather makes me feel like Im there. He just emailed me and said nearly the same as you about the weather. I bet this beer festival your going to will be neat never been to anything like it. Tell me about it when you get the chance. I will be very interested. So what type of sandwhich did you ask for, and I agree he is very thoughtful and your both lucky Im sure.

As for your weather, what I told AoyuBob, I will try sending my sun your way. Just as long as you send the rain mine.

Have a great morning!

There's a lot of weather-talk in the UK!  ;)

I'm down south in Cornwall and the sun is just coming out from behind the clouds. It's actually pretty nice - it rained in the night, so everything is all sparkly now.

My husband and I are moving house and one of his friends is going to help us move some heavy bits of furniture today. Then once the friend is gone, we'll have a picnic lunch in the sitting room (with nothing to sit on) and try and get some more of the painting done.

How much longer do you have at work?

Heya chary!

Ya know something I think I love the rain. Weird eh? Glad to hear its nice out, means my fiance will get to go on one of his many walks.

I got to go to Stonehenge back in May is that near Cornwall? I think its wonderfull over there. Here it gets yukky grass dies n such and droughts.

Busy day for you but you make me wish I could join in. A picnic lunch yum reminds me of being young, youll definitely enjoy your day. Let me know how your day turns out. Careful with the paint, its a dangerous tool and me thinks me sees a paint throwing contest in the works ;)

As to when I get to go home and to beddy byes, in about an hour and 15 mins.

Now that just came in before I posted. Oooooo romantic indeed, hehe, then here's to you have a very Romantic evening.

p.s.Hope you guys have a wonderful day!
