Sorry, I think I was missing something earlier. It never occurred to me that someone would get a lawyer for just a speeding ticket!

If one had 9 points on their license already and looking at losing it for a year, I think many would look at getting a lawyer.

Personally, I don't see the problem, I mean, it must be costing local councils a fortune defending all those illegally issued parking tickets because they can't read a rule book and print a parking sign so it can be understood by anyone with even basic English.
