Jolly Ranchers. I'm so jealous.

Cool!

I just got last night:

a bag of mellocreme pumpkins (actually two but the other went to a good cause down Yorkshire way)
Red Hots
Chocolate Mousse Peeps
Tootsie Rolls (vanilla midges)
Candy Corn
Sugar Babes
Maple Nut Goodies

All I asked for was some pumkins. Sometimes it good to remain friends with your ex.

Now I've got to work on those munchies.
Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.

They have them at most places here, but they are called Tangy Cheese. They taste the same to me!

I'm so out of touch, I've never heard of half of those. What's a vanilla midge?? Or chocolate mousse peeps?

I'd forgotten how good candy corn is, though *drools*

Hidden Valley Ranch can be found at Garson's Farm in Esher. Maybe a little too far for you though, but I could always stick some in the post for you ;)

All are old candies that you should know and love. All these were around when I was a kid and before. Nothing new other than flavour for 2 of the items.

Some with a new flavour:
These are new limited edition vanilla flavoured tootsie roll
Peeps ya know those little yellow marshmellow chicks yo used to get at easter
Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.

My mom has a big bag of candy corn waiting for me when I get there in 3 weeks time!  ;D Unfortunately, keeping a corny dog from the State Fair of Texas until my arrival wasn't possible.  :P

LOL Hmmm, yes. I'm guessing a supermarket corndog pales by comparison?

I do miss corndogs, too  :-\\\\

Oh no, a supermarket one won't do. It has to be deep-fried and crunchy, covered in mustard, and is best eaten in the Fair atmosphere while you listen to people screaming on the death trap rides.  ;) I do have a recipe for homemade ones (off the Homesick Texan's blog, so she knows what the State Fair ones are like!), but haven't gotten around to it yet. Have to find some skewers and decent hot dogs for that.

Here's the link, if you want to give them a go. I found cornmeal in the Carribean foods section at Tesco.

They look so delicious!!!

They do look nice :)

I actually bought some cornmeal a few months ago in a moment of homesickness, with a view to making cornbread, but never got round to it.

Mr Grumpyjet has never had a corndog. Maybe this is the weekend to try him out on it LOL
