DH says he saw on Sky News that Best Buy is coming to UK. Has anyone else heard about this?

Cool!  But I still wish it was BuyMore instead, LOL.

(yes I do realise it's a fictional store)

Yeah, me too! YAY! Not that there needs to be more American chain stores here or anything, but Best Buy is pretty effin cool. There isn't anything like it here that I know of.

I'd say Curry's, PC World, and Comet are nearly identical to Best Buy.

You've obviously never tried to shop for video games in those stores  ;D ;D

Agreed. Plus, those other stores don't always have a great selection of dvds and music, either. All of the Curry's I've been into are really small. I am sure Best Buy here would be a scaled down version, but I have high hopes.  :)

It would seem I'm fortunate to have very large versions of each of those shops (right next to each other, oddly enough) here.

Not that I shop for video games at any of them, when so many online shops have free shipping. :)

I was going to say that before, but then figured no one would've heard of Fry's since it's a Texas chain, I think. I forgot you are a Texan, too!  ;D I'm glad we both know the wonder that is Fry's Electronics. I took DH in there and he nearly died with joy.  ;)

Haha... I can't imagine ever seeing a store that size here in UK. They're massive!
