I just hope that more people will ignore the fatalism of the argument that we are beyond repair. We are not beyond repair. We are never beyond repair. - AOC

Meh. French accents never did it for me. It's sexy to hear people speaking French, but a French person speaking English doesn't sound sexy to me, really.
Irish and Scottish accents ARE very sexy... I guess hearing native English speakers speak English is just sexier to me.

I agree!  Not sure about American being 10th, but I can definitely see how Irish made number one ;D.

I just told my husband this.  His response: "But we don't HAVE an accent!"

My husband says the same thing, and he's English :P

Yay! Swedish is no. 7! There is nothing sexier, IMO, than my husband's Swedish Chef accent.  ;D

Not if it's coming out of Cheryl Cole.  :)

Oh no, that's not bad at all! It's my favourite English accent - probably because my hubs is a Geordie!  ;)

Not if it's coming out of Cheryl Cole.  :)

I have a girl crush on her, too. So it must not just be the hubs!  :P

LOL!!!!  ;D But here where I live (25 miles north of Newcastle), they don't say pet as much, they usually call us hen or hinny. I do so love the sound of "Y'aright hinny?"  ;)

Love to hear Cheryl speak, but still can't understand a damn word from her mouth  :-X The 'meself' man...

I'm gonna be a pain in the a$$ and be the one to say that there are so many ex: English and American accents that it is futile to rank them so simply. On the other hand, I'm a sucker for New York and Irish accents :P
