We are having Christmas with DSS the weekend before Christmas since his mum won't let us have him at all the week of Christmas.

But, we will have a great time, and he is 3, so he doesn't know which day is Christmas anyway. Plus he gets to open all of our awesome presents first (LOL... it's not a competition, but you know....

)
Any more ideas on fun stuff we could do with him to make it feel more like Christmas? I've been telling him that Santa came early to our house since he was such a good boy and dropped off a suitcase full of presents! (We brought all of his gifts back from the states in one of our suitcases, and they are still in there, so I've been taunting him with it. He hasn't peeked so far, which is surprising!) I was planning to make some cookies with him, since he likes baking with me. We will leave something out for Santa and the reindeer, and hang a stocking on his bed post with something nice inside. What else should we do? Also, any suggestions for a kid-friendly Christmas style dinner? (I'm making a proper one for me and DH on Christmas day, but DSS won't be with us, and probably wouldn't like it anyway!) Or do you think I should just make his favourites (mostly veg and fruit)?
