Maui-- your beach weedding seems like it will be so much fun! I have heard it costs about the same to fly to hawaii from both the east coast of the US, and the UK. Does anybody know if this is true?  This might come in handy when I begin to plan a wedding...

Pickle - Amazingly the flight cost from the UK is usually only around $100 more than from the US east coast. My fiance got his "wedding flight" for £600....not bad in my opinion. Plus we get a built in honeymoon out of the deal. Yay!

Hi Lizzylou -

I used both Talkster and Rebtel and I found out while in the UK over xmas that they had merged with Rebtel fortunately I already had both numbers to contact my family in the US, so it was no problem. Just join Rebtel it is EXACTLY the same as Talkster and you will be back to free mobile calls again :)

Hope this helps

CMG :)

I was thrown off because it gave me "five free minutes" when signing up with them.  I used those minutes to call my parents who would then hang up and call me back. Well, when that "free minute" thing was up, I didn't listen to the whole message that said I could still make the free call.

So I got it figured out now - it is like Talkster.

Thanks again :)

Rebtel looks good but I have a question and didn't see the answer on the rebtel.com site.  When you call someone, they see a number which they use to call you back.  Does that number change every time or is it assigned to you?  If BF calls my landline, I don't have caller ID so I wouldn't be able to see the phone number if it constantly changed.  I'd have to have him call my cell to see the number, then I'll call him back on my landline which I always prefer.

I've been using it for about a year now.  It is always the same number that is assigned to that particular contact on your account with Rebtel.

That sounds good.

Here is another company that sounds similar.  Is anyone familiar with it?

Edited to add:  I just had another quick look and it looks like this service is only good if you are in the UK.

Xbox360. The cost of an annual membership, about £50 and it's free all day everyday. We chat on the video chat feature. In fact gaming was how I met my fiancé!
