A sitar

Did Peggy tell you the story of how DH helped her get a sitar when we were in India? We had to drag that thing everywhere! It was gorgeous though.

A bed/boxframe/new mattress
Things to decorate my bedroom with (picture frames, vases, etc)
A pair of wide-calf boots that don't also make my ankles look huge
Walking shoes and cool every day shoes
A better mobile with a contract
All my stuff from the UK shipped here :(
iTunes cards
The Pioneer Woman's new cook book
Borders or Amazon gift certificates
New clothes

I'm probably unlikely to get most of that, but a girl can dream!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

G, I hadn't heard that story. But having to drag it around sounds like it could have amusing moments!

I've already gotten most of my Christmas pressies, which included some things I wanted:

some high heeled, knee-length dressy boots (yay! I love them!)

some fur-lined casual boots (yay! My feet will be warm when I walk the dog after xmas! And they have a decent sole on them, so maybe I won't go sliding down the hill like last year!  :P)

two new jumpers (one is kind of a sweater-dress, which I bought leggings and a belt and accessories for) and three new pairs of jeans.

plus I got my special Onyx edition Scrabble game back from my mom's and my American Monopoly and my dad's guitar, so it's pretty much everything I wanted!  ;D

But, I wouldn't mind a few new cookbooks or a few random tools for the kitchen - a hand grater, a Y-peeler, a flat whisk, springform cake pans, and a Wilton's cupcake decorating kit.  ;D

Even that sole won't keep you out of the bushes on Christmas Day though!  ;)

Homeplug (..I don't really understand them, all I know is it allows wired connection speeds)
Crockpot (slowcooker)
George Foreman grill
Theory test
Theory test practice guides
Car rental for a day

And, funny enough, I'm getting all of the above. Yay! Hubby is buying the homeplug & theory test stuffs. My mom is giving us money to spend as we please - I'll rent a car for a day and get the crockpot + grill. I'll be a happy chappy.
Met in person - 07/10/06

Sweet!  I was this close to buying some but decided to wait for the after Xmas sales.
...the whole damn thing will turn
and return redefined, rearranged, rearranged...
