Since this site has been such a massive assistance to us upto now, we would like to give a little back in the form of a tip for free phone calls. (I know for sure it work from UK to USA)
Have a look at

The way it works seems a little complicated at first but once you know what you're doing, its awesome.
Firstly, you set up your account, then add the specific numbers that you need...more than likely our spouse/fiancee based on this site. haha
Then when you call them, they answer, then hang up and call back while you wait on the line...when they call you back, the line reconnects you both in the middle and it's only using is your free local minutes. (It works by finding a local UK number and a local USA number and allocating this to both parties)
There is a video explanation on the website to show you but it will defintely save you some pennies and will mean that you can keep in touch with your loved ones when you're out and about.
