Digital Photo Frames
« on: November 16, 2009, 06:22:36 PM »
We're thinking about getting my parents and my inlaws each a digital photo frame for Christmas. Does anyone have any recommendations? We would like to spend $60 max if possible.

Thanks!

We got my parents this one:

More then you want to spend, but it's a really good one.  They love it!

This is the one R got me last year for Mothers day in white:

I like it, but if I could change one thing, I'd get a bigger one.

I ordered someone this one for Christmas this year:

They wouldn't have opened it yet, so I can't comment on how it works, but it seemed to have lots of neat features for the price, and I liked how it didn't look too 'electronic', if that makes sense.

Good gift idea! We have a Sony frame and I love it. We got it at Argos for about £80 a year ago. I was just checking them out online and they have some that start in the £20 range.

Thanks everyone!

Lilro, I like that wood framed one too. I didn't even know they came in non-digitally looking frames, so I was impressed to see those!

Stacey, interesting that you said the 7in one wasn't big enough. Is it 7in from end to end, or is the actual photo 7in?

Jupy, thanks for the tip about Argos. That might actually be where we end up getting the one for DH's parents as Amazon.co.uk doesn't deliver to Ireland.

7 in diagonally, like the flat screen HD tv's ;D

We got mine in Sainsbury's I believe, not Amazon. It was also cheaper then the Amazon price. (I asked R)

We got our in-laws one at Argos also, and they love it.

Oooooh I hate this!!  A lot of things I've wanted to buy on Amazon don't deliver here either, and if they do, the cost is really high.

Do they not deliver to NI either?? I figured you could get stuff up there that we can't get down here!

It depends.  Directly through Amazon, I've only ordered books, and they've delivered here okay, but I don't have the option of next day delivery.  A LOT of the other vendors that sell on Amazon don't deliver here though, or the charge is outrageous.  Some of the chain stores (like Mothercare) also don't deliver here.  We're no-mans land up here!

On the off-chance you find a good deal on a frame on Amazon, and they deliver to NI, send me an email.  You can have it sent to me and I can post it down to you.
