Having a really good week!
« on: November 17, 2009, 08:35:20 PM »
So, I got my FLR-M on Monday.  Today, we bought our sofa and our bed. The bed will arrive tomorrow, and around this time tomorrow, it'll be ready for sleeping. So glad, it's been rough sleeping on a futon in the front room, on my own! The sofa will get here next week. DH is on a holiday this week, so, he'll be home to put everything together, and sort everything out, so, the IL's won't have much to myther about (*fingers crossed!*) Things are finally looking up. Once my documentation arrives, I can apply for my NIN. Then, waiting until Jan or Feb. But, all in all, things are finally, finally looking up! :)

It's so totally awesome! We're dropping off his old bed and some other things that can't stay at the YMCA tomorrow, there by hopefully making more space for us. I'm so excited about sleeping on the new bed! It's super comfy! And his room's the quietest in the house! Wheee! :D

Another busy, good day. We did have a tiff about a wicker basket filled with his mum's old crockery and stuff. He shouldn't have raised his voice, but, I get it that it's got a fragile bottom-mainly because it's falling apart, but, still. Oh well. All in all, it was really good, and it feels like I'm finally home. :D

I'm so happy for you.  Sounds like you've accomplished loads.  Little steps make all the difference when everything is so new.  Congrats on this week's successes! :)

Wheee! Got my biometrics id card delivered to the door today. Even had to sign off on it! :) DH is having a go on his xbox game, which makes up for the week of arranging and decorating and purchasing which had to be done to get the rooms fit for us. All in all, it's been a busy, hectic, crazy, satisfying week. And I really feel like I'm glad to be here in the UK. :)
