Ooh that is fantastic news! I love that stuff. The dinner rolls are great- I can just pop one or two into the oven and not waste a whole baguette!

It never rains but it pours.  I went into Budgens today and they now have La Brea bread as well.  :D

This is FANTASTIC news! As a Californian, I ate Sourdough bread every single day before I moved here! I will visit Tesco as soon as I can.

Aaah, that explains why Budgens has it, that's who does all their bakery bread.

If it's difficult to find sourdough in Tesco and places, you can always try a nearby Polish or Russian shop - they've usually got a nice selection of breads, including sourdough (especially in the Russian shops).

Speaking of sourdough, has anyone here made sourdough? I found a recipe that calls for "sourdough starter" and it seems this can be quite hit-or-miss. I REALLY miss sourdough bread and there's no tesco near here.
