I found it in the world/ethnic food section (still not used to that!) in little yellow cartons like a juice box! I have heard mixed reviews, but my daughter is happy with it & it seems ok to me! FYI Tesco is about half the price of ASDA, but since its under £1 anyway & we do most of our shopping at ASDA, that is where we buy it! Merry Christmas! Quick question-is "mulled apple juice" like American apple cider? Would love to have some of that if I knew how to make it!

Thanks. In the UK, apple juice is non-alcoholic squeezed apple, eg US apple cider. UK apple cider is alcoholic. So mulled apple juice is squeeze apple with spices.

M&S is selling a special holiday apple juice with vanilla, cinnamon and cloves and it is very nice if you heat it up and they have it in the 3 for 2 offer.
Thanx for the update! Can you tell me what spices?

I went to a large M&S today and they'd never heard of it.

We go to Costco about once a month...the one in Reading. Here's what I've seen.

Not that I've seen. - Karo (light corn) syrup
Not these brands, but they do a Johnny's Ranch in a huge bottle that tastes exactly like Kraft or Hidden Valley. - Hidden Valley or Kraft Ranch Dressing
Nope. - Dove or Lady's speed stick deodorant
Lawry's salt I have seen.- Those large plastic containers of taco seasoning and Lawrey's salt
Nope.- Montreal Steak Seasoning
YES! We stock up, as it seems to be seasonal.- Orville Redenbacker microwave popcorn
Nope.- Chex cereals for making Chex Mix at the holidays
Not sure.- Flavored liquid coffee creamer (otherwise known as the nectar of the gods)
Nope.- Bottle containing one gagillion Excederine Migraine tablets
Nope.- A&W Root Beer
They have these in tubs.- Gigantic bags of semi-sweet chocolate chips

Some other things I have seen at Costco in the past year: Yoshida's Teriyaki marinade, and wing sauce. French's yellow mustard. Newman's Own grape juice. Wishbone Italian dressing. Marshmallows. Krusteaz pancake mix (I went insane with happiness). Oreos. Jelly Bellies.

Just went into Selfridge's Oxford Street yesterday, and they do carry Karo's Light syrup in their food section.

Cool. From South Africa? But I'd that's a reasonable price.

Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.
