Re: I-130: WHen will we get our interview date?

We sent in our I-130 months ago and got approved.  We just sent the DS-230/DS-2001  about two weeks ago.  We have not heard anything as of yet, but I was wondering how long I should expect to wait before we get an interview date?  I realize by waiting to send in the DS-230/DS-2001 after the I-130 was approved we slowed the process down, but by how much?  I am starting to panic a bit because we just sold our house.  ACK!  I thought it would only be about a month later, but now after reading the timeline I think I may have miscalculated.  Anyone have any ideas?

That sounds like good news, because we had the case number before we sent in the DS-230 and check list.  Perhaps I should send them an e-mail and see if I can check on the satus.  Thanks very much for the info. It is a great help.

Okay, I have looked all over the embassy site and the paper work they sent me.  I see not e-mail contact address anywhere.  Do you know what or where it is?

Yes, it starts LND2004.  They sent that with Packet number 3 Which they sent after my I-130 had already been accepted.  We received that back in June.  We waited until we had all the things on the list before sending in the DS-230 and DS-2001.  I thought once we sent those in it would only take another few weeks before they would set us up with an interview date.  Well, that was what I was hoping anyway.

Oh good, that does put my mind more at ease.  I hope we will be hearing from them soon!

I have a question/concern. We filed our I-130 and DS-230 and DS-2001 back in June. We received a post card saying to wait 12 weeks. I am hoping that we are now pretty close to receiving our interview date.

What my concern is....we never received a case #? Should we have received one? This is making me very nervous that we may not be as far along as I suspected?
