« on: December 01, 2009, 11:00:45 PM »
How much cash can you carry without having to declare it at customs?  I really didnt want to have to wire money over.  Thanks!

I think it's 10,000 Euros (or equivalent if in a different currency) - under today's exchange rate, that's equivalent to $15,077 (USD) or £9,076 (GBP). See: http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/customs/arriving/declaring-cash.htm

If you plan on withdrawing more than $10k, you will have to fill out forms for the US government under the BSA.
