I love Princess Smartypants!  Also Prince Cinders by the same author. :D

Another really good one is The King's Equal by Katherine Patterson, which purports to be a "feminist fairytale" but isn't dry or PC, just a really good story with great illustrations.

But those are just good books.  Not books with no male characters.
