Agreed - I'd be actually working instead of interspersing the 2 (UK-Y and my job) 

I might actually vacuum... I have been catching up with stuff here and last night I went thru 95 pages of threads on Visa looking for answers before I posted my own questions...

I would bother writing and sending out all these xmass cards... I know I am leaving it pretty last minute

I've got my one card done and filled out... heh.  I realized I should at least remember to send my parents one.  I'm actually a bit sad - I LOVED sending cards before I immigrated, but I can't justify the cost of sending that many cards to the US of A.

I should probably be cleaning up the kitchen since we had tea over an hour ago.
