Where??!!! I don't remember anyone mentioning this to me before! Why did you wait so long to tell me?!  :P

Eldon Square Shopping Centre - Newcastle.

There's also one in Derby - may need to convince DH we need to go to Derby for something...   ;D

For anyone that's interested in Aunty Anne's Pretzels here's the dropdown menu:  http://hosted.where2getit.com/auntieannes/pulldown.html - select UK and it'll list all the shops.   ;)

Yes there is...the only thing they're missing is the nacho cheese sauce to dip the pretzel in! If you do let me know, after this week we're having a yummy pretzel'd be nice...with copious amounts of coffee.

I'm not so bothered about the Nacho cheese sauce for pretzels, but I wouldn't mind being able to find some proper sauce when go to the movies instead of the crap in a cup that they serve.

Will probably be a few months before I get the gumption (or ability) to venture down on my own...  But will let you know if I can manage to convince DH to get down there.   ;)

Forgot to add Outback Steakhouse although they're pretty much just around London.  But then again like others have said you'll find pretty much anything around London if not an American chain you'll probably find something that's an equivalent.  Good luck!

Frankie and Benny's isn't an American chain, although I love how they claim to be.  HA!

Yeah, Frankie and Benny's originates from Leicester, of all places!

The first time Tim took me there, he said to me "oh, since you're from New York, you should recognize this place".

But I do have to say, it was the closest to NY style pizza I could find! I don't consider the Hut, Domino's, or Papa John's to be NY style.

I went to Cinnabon in London last year!  It was so good! (I never went in the US though, just enjoyed how it smelled so amazing!!!)

http://www.cinnaworld.co.uk/find_us.html

When I was working at Hamleys I saw a customer walking around with a Cinnabon bag... At this time I had NO idea that there were any cinnabons in the UK, and I ran up to her and went "WHERE DID YOU GET THAT!" (The good thing about Hamleys is that being a crazy person was actually encouraged, so I didn't have to censor much. ;)) Actually, I talked to that person for a while and she was really nice about it. Ever since I've wanted to go to the Cinnabon in Piccadily Circus, but my hips don't agree... Maybe while V has some holiday time.
Finally living with my Husband in London after 6 1/2 years together but apart... and loving my life!

Oh, another chain: there is an Outback Steakhouse in Basildon.

There are MANY TGI fridays in the area too. We really have our pick of them...

Wow, I had no idea there were any Outbacks or Cinnabons in the UK. Good to know. If only Denny's had a presence here, though :(. I miss the buffalo chicken strips so much.

I also have dreams (literally, this is a recurring dream for me) about being somewhere in the UK and discovering an Arby's. I always wake up before I get my food, though.

There's a Baskin Robbins in the Pallasades in B'ham, and one at Merry Hill.
