TMZ is claiming Brittany Murphy died last night

Her husband doesn't want the autopsy, but the LA Coroner is going through with it anyway. Also, her mother told the paramedics that Brittany was a diabetic and it's possible that contributed to her death.

MSNBC has said that an official with the coroner's office said it appeared she died of natural causes.

TMZ reports the following:

We're told Murphy was taking prescription meds for flu-like symptoms she had been experiencing for several days. We're told Murphy began vomiting early Sunday morning and told family members she was feeling very ill.

Unfortunately, that's pretty standard for post-mortem drug testing.  It took two months before my friend's family got the results after he died, and even when they did have them the results were more or less inconclusive.

It took 4 weeks for official results even for my cousin, who had all the arteries in her heart stenotic and blocked, triggering her heart attack.
