The Village. (The really bad one by M Night Smymalan, isn't that what it was called?) What a smelly piece of crap. I couldn't even believe how lame the ending was.

I am in complete agreement about The English Patient. What a snooze-fest.
Also, I hated Moulin Rouge.  :-X

I loved The English Patient, but Moulin Rouge was definitely crap. I hated it.  :-X

I feel asleep during The Remains of the Day. But I think I was 16 at the time when I went to see it, so maybe I could give it another go. I remember it being painfully boring, but I guess at that age, my attention span might not have been so great.

I liked the children's book that it was so obviously ripped off of.  How they ever lost that case I have no idea.

I LOVE Mark Walhberg so this movie was disappointing - he sounded as if he was reading everything as I know that is how the movie was meant to be but still crap IMO

The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.  Great film, but Michel Gondry is a bit awesome.  That probably helped keep Jim Carrey from sucking in it.

OMG.  Words can't express how much I hated that movie.  I can't stand either Jim Carrey or Kate Winslet, whom I find almost as irritating as Kiera Knightley.

LOL! I'm totally with you on Kiera Knightley (aka Frying Pan Face), but I kind of like Kate Winslet - although she's been in some awful films. However, I steered well clear of that Spotless Mind thing because of Jim Carrey.

Have you seen The Science of Sleep?

I think you should give The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind a try if you're avoiding it just because of Jim Carrey.  I am definitely not a fan, avoiding most of his films, but this is one of my favourite films.  If you don't typically like Gondry or Charlie Kaufman, then maybe you shouldn't try to watch it.

It's a bit more than just not being a Jim Carrey fan. I literally get angry when I look at his face.

Co signing on this post.  Gah.  I hated both of these movies, and they are both a "type" of film I should just love.  Go figure.
