Anything with Brendan Fraser. I HATE that guy. With a serious passion.  >:(

I can't believe you said that! I feel exactly the same way!! He's a bad actor and he's not cute! But DH has this bizarre man crush on him, so it's rare for a week to pass without us having to watch some Brendan Fraser rubbish!  :P

Yeah, I never could get why people find him so attractive?  He seems like an oaf to me.

I don't understand it either. DH says he's "cool," but I've never seen that. In fact, I'd probably describe him as distinctly uncool.

ETA: I forgot that he actually was in one movie that I loved - Gods and Monsters.

Which is why he was perfect for Encino Man! ;D

Hmm, I've never seen that one, so I'll have to give it a go.

He often plays some sort of person who is introduced into a society he is largely ignorant about.  It seems like the most bizarre type cast ever, but he seems to have managed it.

You're right!! I think it's his general oafishness combined with that blank and slightly confused expression he can't seem to shake.

You can tell him he's right - Brendan Fraser IS cool.  In person, at least. ;)

He doesn't bother me, to be honest.  I mean, he's not my favorite actor or anything, but he doesn't bug me. :-\\\\

Why, yes, I have!  DH worked on a play he was in about 15 years ago.  Super nice guy, and a LOT cuter in person.

Well, now I feel guilty fo saying I hate him. That's not very nice, is it? Hate is probably too strong a word, but I can say that his acting annoys me and I generally prefer not to see his movies. (But don't tell him I said that... lol.  :P)

Oh, I met him in passing for maybe ten minutes.  It's not like we're buddies or anything!

Hate away. ;)

The worst movie I ever saw was The Omega Code: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0203408/. Halfway through, I thought it was a Mel Brooks-esque comedy because it was SOOOOO cheesy, but alas... it was not. It was meant to be very serious. Two Sasquatch-sized thumbs DOWN. .... unless you're looking for a movie to watch when you're liquored up and in a MST3000 kinda mood. Then it's comedy gold.
