Texas to Yorkshire
« on: August 04, 2004, 03:29:47 AM »
Hi all.  Set to move in 5 days from San Antonio to Sheffield.  Anyone from or near to either of those places?

Have been shopping around for a good Expat site... I indeed like what I see here (have heard good things as well from others).  I hope to become a productive contributing member!

Greetin's Dagobah -- I am currently in Texas myself (Houston), and bound for the Bristol/Bath area in September. Best of luck on your upcoming journey!

Welcome from another fellow Texan (Big Spring, CC, EP & DFW). I'm down in the south but we do need Texans to annex the northern parts, too!!!!! lol

Look forward to hearing from you!

Yay! Another "Yankshire"! I live in Leeds myself which isnt' too far from Sheffield. I've only been through Sheffield a few times. Very industrial.

But you'll love Yorkshire. I do. It's the best place in all of England.

Welcome aboard mate.
