« on: December 28, 2009, 10:14:14 PM »
How did you choose it? what does it mean?
I have seen some great handles/names and I am curious...

Zoyabean is a longtime name whic derived from starting chatting on CIS back in the day as Honeybuns turned to HB then I changed to ^Zoya^ froma Danielle Steel book so it got turned into zoyabean like goyabean

tada it stuck...

I am talking 1992 -1994ish

Mine is from my best friend from high school. She just started calling me WebyJ one day and it stuck...this was back in 1988-89. I started using it as an internet username back in 1994.

I have a pet turtle.

My email address, AIM name, online dating profile, etc. all have one of two names. My UKY name is the only one that's completely different. I wanted a change.

Zoyabean, I loved your namesake book! In a high school history class, we had to read a historical fiction book and report on it to the class. I chose Zoya!

In Scotland a common term especially when giving sympathy, is 'your a poor wee soul'.  I just liked the saying.

Carne Trémula is the title of a film by Pedro Almodóvar; the English title is "LIve Flesh".

Mine is the title of an Alkaline Trio song that I absolutely love.

I kind of lifted this off of an old boyfriend; he had it in mind for a male character.  I thought it suited a female character better (initially pirated it for a Wheel of Time-based roleplay site), and so have been using it as one of my main names for almost nine years now.  I have an alternative that is slightly older (11-12 years of usage?), and one that is a couple of years younger (coming up on 5 years of use), but this one... eh, this one keeps being the one I default to, especially since the newest is a bit more common. *laughs*

Two of my nicknames from high school... One of my closest friends in my little group was also named Maria, and we both went by Mia for our nicknames... So they started calling each of us Queen Mia and Princess Mia (of the universe) which became a running joke, and eventually they were shortened. And Lemons was given to me by another person in that group, because of a strange incident at Denny's after homecoming my sophomore year.
Finally living with my Husband in London after 6 1/2 years together but apart... and loving my life!

The only way I could find it was to do a search by what I'd posted.  Any other way, and it wasn't going to come up, so don't feel too bad - I doubt anyone who didn't remember exactly what they posted would have found it!
