Becca Jane St Clair is my website. I got it from my HS nickname - Becca Jane - and my favourite Barenaked Ladies song - Jane ("The girl works at the store, sweet Jane St Clair") - which they got from a street corner in Toronto, one of my favourite places to visit when I was in college.  The Lady part came from that thread a while back about titles and addressing people, and now it's Lady Rebecca because Lady Rebecca sounded more refined than Lady Becca ;)

Q-G:  short for quarter-gill, which is the old Scottish measurement of spirits in pubs.  And because of that, it's the name of at least 2 dodgy pubs in Glasgow!

I've changed my name since then... 'genau!' just means 'exactly!' in German, and I just like it as a way of saying that you agree with something.

Mine is my name--short for Andrea, but everyone called me Andee since day one except for a couple pretentious teachers (one piano teacher who insisted on calling me Adrian, and another painting teacher who called me Andrea and pronounced it On-dray-uh  ::) )

Ahhh yes.. the Compuserve Chat days.. I used to live in the room called The Village there.. sooo many good memories and freinds that i still keep in contact with to this day. I was also on mIRC..
Anyways i digress  ;D
My nick comes from my family and friends nickname which is Kay.... the first three letters of middle name and the first intial of my surname. I just like the way it looked and sounded. I've been Kaylesh online as long as i can remember from way back in the early nineties.

I think I wrote this in the other thread, but mine comes from a tori amos song.  I don't use this handle anywhere but here, either.

I'm sure I explained this somewhere on here but it doesn't seem to be on the other thread either.  My real name is common.  "Tin" is a nickname given to me by my sisters and brother when I was a kid.  They're the only people who call me it in real life.

LOL! You're right-I'm not sweet all of the time. Sometimes, I can be a right PITA, and I feel bad for DH. But, he seems to manage well enough. <giggle> If I had girlfriends in this country, that I could vent to, it wouldn't be much of an issue, because I'd vent and then come home all nice and sweet again. LOL!

My last name means "flower" in Italian, and since I'm Italian, I tend to use "Flower" as my last name in a lot of places online to keep my real identity a secret. Little Flower Girl was given to me by DB, and it's come in handy as a sweet replacement for my old usual handle, which I loved almost as much as this one but which had also become entangled in enough web trash that I was looking to shed that skin anyways.

I love all these cute stories - and isn't it interesting how we determine what to call ourselves, when given the opportunity! ;)

Mine is the title of a song by The Geraldine Fibbers, a band I was obsessed with in high school.  I have no connection to the song now but wanted to choose something that made me a bit more anonymous than I am on other sites and the song came up on shuffle in iTunes while I was trying to come up with something.
