Hi everyone,

Two years ago, freshly arrived in the UK from California, I remember my new years' resolutions were to make a real change in my life. Two years on I'm now a life coach working to help others make the same transition I did. This forum has provided me with such a great amount of support, guidance and information and I'd like to offer forum members with new year's resolutions of your own two free sessions.

I am offering two free 60 minute life coaching sessions.  These sessions can be for anyone, as you do not need to be located in the UK.  I can call clients in the US and can Skype anywhere.  If you are in the Battersea/Chelsea/Clapham/Wandsworth area of London, we can meet in person.

I have been coaching clients for over a year and received my life coach training under Martha Beck, Ph.D, the best selling author of Finding Your Own North Star and columnist for 'O', the Oprah Magazine. Martha is a world renowned life coach and her training has given me the proven techniques to help you get the most out of life.

If you are interested, please send me a message or you can contact me through my website on my profile, which will also tell you loads more about me.

Wishing you happiness, health and prosperity for 2010. :D
Let's all make it a great one, Kelli

Exactly what I was going to ask!
On s'envolera du même quai
Les yeux dans les mêmes reflets,
Pour cette vie et celle d'après
Tu seras mon unique projet.

Je t'aimais, je t'aime, et je t'aimerai.

Kelli will give a more articulate answer, I'm sure, but the way I understand it, it's helping you to reach your potential or specific goals (career, fitness, etc.) by getting you to get clear on them by asking you certain questions or getting you to ask yourself those questions.  Like a self-help book come to life with a trained person who can help you with your motivation.

Great question, so sorry I didn't explain before.  In a coaching environment, I assist a client in discovering what is holding them back or creating unhappiness in their life and use coaching techniques to dissolve their limiting beliefs. The result is seeing the client come alive and be motivated to take action.  The benefits are happiness, clarity, joy, money and love!

The focus of my practice is working with people who are learning how to cope in a new environment. For example:

a new job or loss of one
starting, ending or improving a relationship
living in a new space or moving to a new area or country
defining a new purpose

My coaching style is very different from therapy, in my opinion.  Therapists work with mental illness and disorders which may require medication and can tend to work on situations that have occurred in the past.   Coaching is for clients who are mentally healthy, but want to move forward in their lives creating more happiness, increasing productivity, dissolving fears and gaining confidence.

I hope that helps.  If you have more questions, bring them on!  :)

Thanks Andee, perfectly said.

My coaching is about disolving your limiting beliefs and finding your inner desires and determining how to acheive them.  It is not about creating a long list of "things I must do that I hate and would rather die first".  ;)

Hi Kelli, do you only work with expats? Or with anyone? I'd really like to re-energise myself as I feel I've been a bit focused on the negative lately and I have several projects (outside work) on the go, which I feel are a bit "stuck" but not really sure why.

I'm very much not an expat :P :)
