I'm 5'10 and would never feel comfortable with someone shorter. I know that's shallow, but I would always feel weird. It's never been an issue though. All my BFs have been 5'11 or taller.

Wow! I didn't know you were that tall!

I'm 5'8" and only dated one guy who was shorter than me.  I ended up marrying (and divorcing) him.
DH is 5'10".

I'm almost 5'1, and my boyfriend is 6'7.  We do look silly when dancing, but I don't care!

I just have to remember I can't eat portions in the sizes that he does, otherwise I'd be as wide as he is tall!

I'm 5'4", and DH is just shy of 6'.  He's probably the shortest man I've been with!

I'm not used to being able to look people straight in the eye!

I remember a long time ago my mother (who is 5'2") saying that she hoped we married tall guys to add a bit of height to the family! I'm not sure if that was always nagging at my subconscious while I was dating!  :P

Dude, that's weird for me, too. DH sunk himself down to level until his face was even with mine so I could imagine how it would be if we were the same height and it was freaky. I didn't like it.

I used to always give my mom a hard time about my dad being short. I told her she should've hooked up with a tall guy so I would've had a fair chance!  ;) (I never said this in front of my dad, though!)

I have a male friend who is the same size as me (just 5' tall) and he loooooves tall women. I mean, most people are taller than him anyway, but he totally drools over really tall girls. Not that many of them have given him the time of day, mind!  :P

I'm just under 5'4" and I've never been attracted to tall men but never been attracted to short men either. Just plain average (5'8" to 6') is perfect for me. :P

I'm a bit over 5'8" and I tried dating guys my height or shorter to be "open-minded." I tried it and didn't like it! My current bf is 6'2" (I think... maybe 6'3") and I really do prefer the taller thing. My dad and my brother are both over 6' so that might have something to do with it.. taller just seemed more "normal" to me since that's what I grew up around if that makes sense!

I am 6 ft 2 ins. My mother was 5 ft 3, and my father was 5 ft 2. Funnily enough, the guy next door was 6 ft 3.

I married a short man once (second husband who was about 5' 5") and it was arguably the biggest mistake of my life (for a lot of reasons).  He was a bit short on everything.  :o  Never again!

DH is about 1 inch taller than me (I'm 5'8") & that's fine.  Doesn't have to be TALL - just around (or taller than) my height.  I think I'm prejudiced!  :P :D

(Ok I do fancy tall guys - when I was in Amsterdam, phwoar!  ;))

I've heard it said that men always grow up to be taller than their mothers. Is that really true?

Wow! I didn't know you were that tall!

Really? I'm sure I've mentioned it when talking about high heels and things. Needless to say, I don't need them! ;D

I prefer tall men but I think I would even if I were shorter.

My husband is 5'11 but both his parents are less than 5'5. His twin brother is 6ft but their younger brother is barely 5'7. Genetics are weird.

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon
