I know you will all be wondering, why put gorilla glue in the microwave?

I have no idea. She is desperately in need of help.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Won't her skin just eventually shed and it'll come off?
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I was also going to suggest waiting a bit and letting at least her skin/burns heal before she even worries about it.  I'm sure she's upset with the additional issues of having glue stuck to her, but burns, in my experience, should be let heal as much as possible before dealing with anything else. And, some of her hair may shed/fall out as she waits and make it less of a problem.
It's sounds super painful though.

I'm really sorry for her.... but I have to know why she was microwaving the glue, I know it's inappropriate to ask, but I'm morbidly curious :(  :/

Did you see this?

Gorilla Super Glue works well up to temperatures as high as 200-220ºF. However, too much exposure to extreme heat will cause the strength of the bond to be compromised. Likewise, too much exposure to water, especially warm water, can compromise the strength of the bond.

So possibly just getting some wet sponges and packing it around the area and soaking it for  a day or so will help to loosen the bond?

I've had glue stuck to my fingers before I couldn't get off with acetone.  I either waited for it to wear off with the natural shedding of the skin, or removing the top layer of skin manually (sorry for the mental pic).    The treatment for 3rd degree burns of removing the dead skin to encourage to production of new skin an healing will help to remove some if it as well.  Unfortunately it's not a pleasant solution.

 Thanks for your responses!

cheesebiscuit, I have no idea why she did it. I think the glue may have been kind of hardened in the bottle and she wanted to loosen it up so she coud use it for some random craft project, but this is just a theory. I didn't see it all happen or anything, she is back in Arkansas.

PickledSakua, she called them on the night of the accident, no one knew what to do. Thanks though:)

As far as I know(I haven't spoken to her in a couple of days), she still has glue in her hair, she is waiting for it to loosen up a bit so she can shave it. She went to see a dermatologist this week and probably won't have any permanant scarring on her face. Poor girl! At least it didn't get in her eyes or anything.
