Hahahahaha!!!! That article is hilarious. They fail to mention that all too familiar but confusing greeting "A'right?" And they can add to the terms of endearment list a few of the Northumbrian ones "Young'un" (As in... "A'right, Young'Un?") and also hen and hinny. But I do get called Chuck a lot too (another word for hen around here... chicken eggs are often called chucky eggs). I can just imagine if someone read this and then came to the place where I live. Although, the young'uns around here still eat with fork and knife.  ;D But people around here definitely do belch in front of others and give the old "Pardon me, it was not me, it was my tea."  :P

My hubby calls me "chuck" all the time!  I never knew where that came from--now I know--chick or chicken or hen.
