I really want to see it but no one else does :( I guess Ill just have to check it out on DVD. Im not opposed to going to a movie by myself, however this one might not be good to see alone. And with the whole being separated from my fiance, I could cry the whole time.

I went to see it with my mom and we both cried, but then again, I bawled when I read the book.
There were actually a couple women who went by themselves.

One of my roommates read the book, and will probably want someone(ie: me) to go see it with her...I was wondering--Should i read the book first? Or will it make no difference?

I read The Lovely Bones, but was pretty disappointed with the movie--to the point that I didn't even finish watching it...

Any thoughts?

I actually preferred the movie over the book. The ending was much better. Go see it :)

Ooh, I was going to start reading Lovely Bones next. Haha, perhaps you just saved me time on reading a not so good book and watching a not so great film! :)

Don't get me wrong, I thought the book was great, I just wasn't much a fan of the style that part of the film was done in.  I would definitely still read it though!
