I can't find a flight!

 This really stinks! I am trying to find flights to the UK at the moment. I am supposed to leave in 22 days and I still can't find a flight! The websites keep displaying false prices and then not letting me book! 

 I know that I will get a ticket and here's why:
I was traveling to the UK once before and tickets were outrageous (for a college student like myself). I am a person who prays and believes strongly in faith for things asked. I asked the Lord for a ticket that was $450 when prices at the time were about 600. The price actually came down to $462 but I didn't take it. I asked for $450, so I was waiting for $450. In the end, I ended up getting my ticket for $350! God is good...and rewards faith!

 I guess I am faithfully waiting for another awesome price like I got before..

 Just wanted to share my thoughts.
 

Remember March is Spring Break so tickets are higher. Im leaving in 25 days and mine was about $200 more than normal because of it.

 I didn't even realize that! I thought tickets would be cheaper since it was March. Dang.

April is Spring Break around here, so prices don't go up till after Mar. 30/31 for us in Atlanta. Just a thought that maybe if you consider flying through another city it could make a difference?

In the end, I ended up getting my ticket for $350! God is good...and rewards faith!

GOSH! What websites are you using?! I need to get on them and start praying too!  I've always settled on anything around $700!  Think of how many times I could have flown roundtrip if it was only $350!! Doh!

Totally agree. I pray, but perhaps I'm not looking in the right place. Either that or Kayak isn't doing its job! Enlighten us! 

Aye and here i was well chuffed that i got  a flight from Edinburgh to Boston in June for £307(approx $500) ...
Been the best price i could find..

Since you are a student, try StudentUniverse.com.  Dead good prices.

Last year, I decided to go to Glasgow the first week of April as a last minute trip.  I booked the ticket a week ahead of time (as opposed to my usual months ahead of time) and it was $400 after the fees.  It was amazing.  I've been telling all of my friends that if they are willing to tempt fate (or in your case have some faith) and hold off until it gets closer to the date then you'll probably be pleasantly surprised.

Remember, it's practically impossible to find those fares from the West Coast - lots of these deals are from the East Coast...plan on spending at least $500 or $600 from the West Coast... try cheapoair.com but I've always had pretty good luck with Kayak and sign up for airfarewatchdog.com 's newsletter. they send fare alerts out all the time.

Hm, I'm on the east coast, and it seems pretty impossible to only spend $350! I want to know the secret!  I'll try these other websites though the next time I travel

This site only works if you are flying from the US It won't let me look up flying from Manchester to Orlando...shame.
