"The British Invasion" (or "British Invaders")?  "Life in the Colonies"?  "UK Colonists"?  "AmeriBrits"?  "Retaking the Colonies"?

You should try to set up an ad deal or something with The Union Jack,  Sarah-it's a free newspaper for British expats, and it's national.  They give it out at British pubs and stores here.  If you like, I'll grab a copy and check their ad rates, etc, and see if we can get it mentioned in one of their columns-I seem to recall they have an internet column.

PM if you want, I'm happy to mail a copy of it out to you as well.

I like AmeriBrits...not too keen on the others, as it lends more towards Brits coming to America, rather than Americans returning to America...

The forum has several test names. These are Bye Bye Blighty, High and Blighty, and Beyond Blighty. Id really appreciate more suggestions for a name or a confirmation/vote that these names arent as bad as they sound!

I havent read all the posts on this, so someone might have already mentioned it, but 'Blighty' means England, and excludes the other parts of the UK.  Im sure you dont want to do that, so perhaps using Blighty in the name should be reconsidered?

Sarah, thanks for all of your time and thought into putting this together.  I'm sure it'll take off in no time.

As for what to name it, I'm not terribly creative.

Anglo-American Connection?

US UK Connection?

Doesn't apply to me at all, but I agree with Stacey and Frances about "AmeriBrits."

OOh, I really like AmeriBrits and I have no issue with the slant towards Americans returning to the US (even if a lot of us are British Spouses returning with an American ;)

Great name :)

Here's a link to the UJ's website:

http://www.ujnews.com/html/index.shtml

Looks like a website ad is $33 per month, which may be a bit steep.  But at least you can get a look at it, the paper itself has a different layout etc. (obviously).  Let me know if you want a copy.

Saf, Id LOVE a copy and what a great idea. Thanks for the link. Even if the ad ran only for a couple of months it would be worth it. Maybe I could get a pay pal donation thing going so if anyone wanted to help support things like advertising they could. Anyway, I'll pm you with my addy :) Your help is much appreciated.

Broxie, yeah it was mentioned before. At the time I hadnt even really thought about Scotland, NI, or Wales. Not that I wanted to disclude them or anything! But your point is excellent and I'll be ditching the Blighty ref soon. Thanks for the suggestion!

Great ideas with the names guys. I rather like AmeriBrits too. It sounds familiar though (which is a good thing I guess) so Im going to have a check round and make sure there isnt already a community with that name. *fingers crossed*. Feel free to keep the suggestions coming!
