Wow! Thanks sooooo very much everyone! I can't wait to start looking for these and digging out some of what I already have!

You guys rock!

AN - keep 'em coming if you are so inclined! :) That goes for everyone! ;D
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

My kids love kidsongs, you can check them out on youtube. I guess it was a t.v. show in the 80's, the kids do covers of songs that were popular at the time. I even enjoy them!

A few more:

Hush by Bobby McFerrin and Yo-Yo Ma

The Cars soundtrack is kind of fun (the songs, not the instrumentals).

My son is a HUGE fan of the Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog soundtrack.  Granted, it's a bit PG, but it's definitely something I don't mind listening to. ;)

Oh!  The Curious George soundtrack by Jack Johnson.  Happy, beachy music.

And while it's nowhere near something I'd ever listen to on my own, The Chicken Dance is worth having for when you REALLY need them to get a lot of energy out.  Kids love dancing to it, and it's hilarious to watch!

In a strange coincidence, and through the magic of Facebook, I have just come across an artist/children's album that might be of interest to some of you. An old high school friend of mine - whom I lost touch with for years - is now on FB. Turns out her boyfriend is a guy called Joe West. He is, apparently, a musician of some note in the alt-country genre.

He has just realeased a children's album and this is the video they made for one of the songs and I like it... I know I'm very biased because that's my friend in the video and her daughter is so darn cute! I'm almost afraid to listen to the rest of the album though, because I want to like all of it!
