R.I.P. Wendy's @ Heathrow
« on: August 10, 2004, 01:11:14 PM »
Well, I picked up my son from Heathrow this morning, and the Wendy's that used to be in Terminal 3 Arrivals is no longer there.  Don't know if they've moved it elsewhere in Heathrow, but somehow I doubt it.

Just thought I'd mention it as I know a few people were "depending" upon it.  :-\\\\

;D  the title alone gets 2 snaps up!

I do know they have a Burger King up in there.

Personally, I am thankful that they dont change recepies for things like fast food. Cos otherwise i would fall out.

You know we're all pathetically desperate when we mourn the closing of a fast-food outlet at an airport.... :\\\'(

I miss Wendy's and their 99 cent menu.
I would always get 3 junior bacon cheeseburgers, a sour cream & chives baked potato, and extra packs of sour cream.

But it's okay. I really like Wimpy's Cheeseburger Mea Deal. The fries are thin & crispy. The burger, bun, and sauce are quite tasty.

If Pepsi or Disney or Citibank or Bill Gates (or whoever owns Taco Bell) had any sense, they would bring the mighty TB into the UK.

Well, if it's not viable, then it's not viable. But how can you not go nuts for a Nachos Bell Grande with extra jalepenos?

Yummy!!  Nachos Bell Grande...soft taco supreme and a mexi-fry.  Well, I guess I'm going to have to make some tortillia and pico de gio and have a proper Mexi-feast now!!

Of course, I really do like the square burgers from Wendy's...they are one of my favorite "evil burger conglomerates"

I miss the Wendy's Taco Salad.  Gosh, I can remember eating a lot of those when I was working in the States.  Not very healthy but really yummy!   :)
