US to UK Pen Pals?

I have a friend/coworker in the states that has a son who is I believe is 10, that would like a UK penpal.
His school used to do this and has stopped.

I thought I would throw it out there if anyone is interested.

Why don't you get M to write to him? She's about the same age, isn't she? Or would he rather have a boy to write to?

I don't know if M would do it....That requires HER to write to a boy and at her age it is not appealing haha
