Goodness, I haven't been inside a McDonalds in 20 years!  I did love the Shamrock Shakes though, but they were my downfall.  I was such a good kid in high school--never cut class, never got into trouble.  However, one year a friend of mine and I decided to leave school grounds on lunch break (forbidden!) to get a Shamrock Shake and on the way back to the school we got stopped and reprimanded by a police officer--I was so scared it would end up on my "permanent record"!   It didn't though, of course![smiley=clover2.gif]

I only enter a McDonald's if I am desperate for a pee - and even then I might hold it!  :-X

I did have to eat a salad there once in the last 5 years out of desperation, but it made me ill - it had sugar!  :o

I'm not too sure I could cope with a Shamrock Shake, TBH!  :P

Good luck in yuour hunt, though! Maybe you need to go to Ireland???  :D

I forgot about Shamrock Shakes!  I don't think I've had one since I was about 12, but they were good!  Now I really want one.  Might have to investigate making a mint flavoured shake at home.

I'm a mint-aholic, but I've not had one since before I moved over here, so can't say that I miss them too too much.  I really miss and enjoyed how they'd change the flavour each month in the states.  Cherry shakes were fantastic, especially with a cherry pie.   ;D

However, it's nice having the different McFlurries.

I try my best to stay away from fast food as well - but in my mind the shamrock shakes dont fall into that category haha

If it makes you feel better, I've heard through the grapevine that the [USA] Shamrock shakes this year aren't as good as the ones from yesteryear.

I've heard they are too much vanilla and not enough mint.
