I've looked at this thread a bunch of times, but as I have no frame of reference I don't know what to say?  Keeping WestHighlandWay's advice in mind, is saying Good luck okay?   ???  It sounds tough but I hope you manage to keep sane until the end.  I'm so out of my depth.   :-X

I chose to think of the last bit of pregnancy as a breaking up phase.  If it didn't get miserable,I'd almost want to keep them in forever.  However, with how miserable the last while can be, it was a relief to be done, and made the missing having them on the inside a little easier.

It's an amazing process.  The whole thing.  Labour isn't fun, but many of us have done it several times, so it can be endured.  Try not to fear it.  You've had such a journey to get to where you are, you will do well.  You're almost there and will have two amazing bundles of love.

When I had baby#1 it took a while for the bonding.  The first 12 hours or so I was a bit shell shocked, but when it happened the love I felt made my heart hurt.  It's immense and you have it all to look forward to.

Hang in there!

The babysitting option is still open Ashley, even if you just want me to come round while you have a rest.

I'd take up HME's offer any day!  :D

I'd have had more if I weren't so old.

Love to sit for scrummy newborns.

yep, those last few weeks suck.

just get as much rest as you possible can now, and don't fear the labour--they make all sorts of lovely drugs for that these days!  ;)
