Visiting the UK while awaiting a visa?
« on: March 30, 2010, 03:25:13 AM »
Hello,
I was curious to see if it would be possible for my fiancee to visit the UK while her visa is being processed? Any help in this area would be much appreciated. Thanks in Advance!

Somebody will probably correct me if I'm wrong, but your fiancee's passport will be at the consulate while the visa is being processed, so no, she can't come to the UK while her visa is being processed. If you two are worried about waiting, if she uses an expediter, she can have her visa processed in 24-48 hours.
09/29/09--Visa Approved!
10/05/09--Leave for the UK!!!
06/15/12--Back in the US indefinitely...

Thanks for the quick response, that's what we thought as well, It seems to me, that the expediter is the easiest route to take. Thanks Again
