Hello again

I know originally when I introduced myself it was with the idea of moving in about 8 years. Well DH and I have discussed this alot lately and after our visit to his family in the UK a week or so ago we've re-evaluated our thoughts. We've decided to move up that timeframe. Now we are looking at doing it before my youngest hits highschool. (apx 3 1/2 years). So if all goes well hubby will be back where he wants to be earlier than we thought.

I know things will be changing in the visa process but we are still hopeful that the ability to apply for the ILR (or equiv) will still be around since by then we will have been married well over 4 years

Side note. Anyone moving to or living near N Lincolnshire area? Hubby's family is in Grimsby.

Hello and welcome!  We had a friend who was from Cleesthorpe.  I went down to see him once or twice when he still lived there.   

Hi & welcome back to UKY!    

My MIL's from Goxhill near Cleethorpes.  It's about a good hour's drive from us though.   

An hours drive itself never has bothered me. I generally take that long to drive to work each day here in the states. For now we are going to save all we can so that when we do move we can get a home. We are also hopeful our employer can transfer us over as they have depts all over the world.
