I spoke to the Vicar this morning, his son is my sons best friend (which makes it even worse) he said 107 applications came in for 45 places however they might add another 15 places. He told me to appeal...I am going to see the head teacher this afternoon.

What a palaver!!!

Rach- 107 for 45 places- that's just crazy but it happens every year.  Was looking through the brochure that we received last fall and almost all the schools were like that. It just seems insane that they can't come up with a better system.  Keeping my fingers crossed he gets in via the waiting list!  I double checked and Es will be going to a school that is almost 2 miles away. Pretty far considering our closest school is around the block! Glad it's my choice and not forced on me.

Mrs Pink- I KNOW can you believe it!

Oh and the vicar at my church has SEVEN kids of his own- that's almost an entire class LOL
