How long till you move to the UK?

So I wanted to see how long everyone (still in the USA) has till they move to the UK to be with their lovies.  How long do you have?


I am moving in September...so...5 months. 

I'm not moving to be with my love ;-) but I AM moving WITH my love!

We are headed over in May to look for an apartment, and we are tentatively scheduled to *move* in late June.

I am feeling a little EEEEEP about it all right now!

Well, my love got transferred and moves over in May. I will be going with our dog in August.

However, I have a trip in May planned (to find an apartment), he's coming back in June (to attend a wedding) and I'm going over in June (to make sure he buys acceptable temp furniture), and he will be back once in July. WHEW. Plus, we have a wedding to go to in Sri Lanka in August before I move, so needless to say I think we will endure the distance just fine.

Well, I'd be just going for myself, but if I do go (not sure yet, various reasons) it would be in September.  It seems like so, so, so far away.

I'm scheduled to leave on June 2nd - family all together We started the process really last September with the sale of our home.  I can't believe how soon this is going to happen!
April is flying by... I've started my online app for ILE this week.

Reina - Where are you guys headed?  It looks like we're almost on the same timeline.  We're looking SouthEast - near Bracknell. 

I'm scheduled to leave on June 2nd - family all together We started the process really last September with the sale of our home.  I can't believe how soon this is going to happen!

OMG! We are so on the same timeline :-D I haven't started on my online ILE yet, but I am planning to do so on Friday. EEEP!

We are looking in the South East too! Although we don't have a specific location fixed yet :-/ We were thinking Cambridge, but vet jobs might be scarce in the area so we are re-thinking and some friends in the area say Reading is good, some say Essex! Still working on it :-/

I am moving over the last week of July.  And I feel like the time is just draaaaaging.  I haven't even started the Spousal visa application process (just gathering documents and such at the moment) because I feel like the time will drag even more once I start filling out the actual online app.
I can't wait.

I wish I knew.    There are SO many things that have to come together before we can make it official and apply for the spousal visa.  It's really hard explaining that to people over and over and over...

Wow you have 7 months till you get to see your bf again?  Aww  I hope time goes by quickly!

I have 16 days and it seems like it is taking FOREVER to get here.  And alas I only get 5 days with him at that....

Id like to think we are going to be stronger after all this time apart, having strength in love and committement.

We have a little more than 3 months to go before the big move. The details and logistics are becoming a wee bit overwhelming at the moment

At the moment we still have no visa in-hand and no place to live...but at least one of us has a job.

August/Septemberish for me.
But I'm here at the moment and we'll be together again in July for a couple weeks. So not that bad and it'll all go quickly, I believe.

Since the whole - no more visa expediting service shocker- our plans have changed, my fiancee is coming to Las Vegas for 2 weeks in July and we will be wed, he'll go back to the UK and then we apply for my spousal visa. With the changes, fingers crossed in early September or sooner
