The guy's face made me laugh out loud! He's really staring lovingly at the dessert! Ha!

Scotland contains like everybody's favourite fair treats, or maybe it's only the Iowa State Fair's treats but it sure reminds me of the fair.

Yeah, I think I'll stick to deep-fried pizza and leave that latte thing well enough alone.

But I bet they don't have deep fried haggis in Iowa  ;)

Dude! The best part of the State Fair of Texas is the new fried food inventions!  ;D It's a Dallas tradition. (Small wonder it's one of the "fattest" cities in America!) I would totally eat that. Man, I miss the Fair so much.  :\\\'( The Fletcher's deep fried corn dogs are heaven on a stick. I think I may have to go back for a visit during Fair season next fall. DH would be so grossed out by all the nasty fried foods I will eat.  :P

Doesn't sound too bad (taste wise). Just pastry and ice cream... Now as for calories, um, yeah... no fair food for me. :(

That doesn't sound much different from fried ice cream. It looks pretty nice, though. I'd give it a B+ for yumminess but a D for originality.  ;)

Yeah... I agree. The fried Coke balls they had a few years back were much more original (though not recommended taste wise... they just tasted like congealed flat Coke  :-X) But, the fried cheesecake and fried peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are delish.  :P

Frankly...they had me at 'fried dough'.  Nom!  I don't want a whole one.  I could never eat that much of it.  I just want one bite.  Maybe two.  Three, tops.  :)

I'd actually try the Deep Fried Latte, but I think it'd make me sick. But I love coffee!  :-\\\\

I love fair food but when I get the rare chance to eat some I can't seem to do it.  Deep fried corn dogs, funnel cakes, elephant ears, curly fries, etc.....  I know they taste yummy but I also know the fat & calories are outrageous.  The last time I went to an American "fair" and had such a selection to choose from I settled for a roasted ear of corn and a caramel apple.  And honestly, I'm glad I did.  They were both delicious.   :)
