That's what I thought when I first read it.  My mom, dad, and I have a pool going on how long we think the flight ban will be on for.

Oooh, what do you all think? Apparently when this happened before, it lasted months.

LOL... that's what dad and I heard so mom chose a week, I said a month and my dad said 6 weeks, I think.  Although my mom thinks she should win since test flights have been flying, but I think dad and I are sticking to it has to be commercial aviation with real passengers.   ;)  I hope dad and I lose though.

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Looks like the boss is going rail & sail to Dublin tomorrow...  :P (remarkably, there's still availability on the ferries, no problems at all)

Edit: ha! scratch that - he says he'd rather not go at all if it means two full days' travelling!

I think JennBean might be trapped in Turkey for a while. Her flight is supposed to leave for the UK tonight, and it doesn't look like it's gonna happen. Keep your fingers crossed for her!

Today
Wow!  What a delay!

Hopefully you will enjoy the extra time at home?  I would so be hitting more Taco Bell.

I don't mind the extra time at home, seeing family and friends, but I have a few things I was looking forward to in the UK in the next couple of weekends and it sucks that I'm going to miss them now.  Oh well, it could be much, much worse....
