Thank you everyone.

To answer your questions, they're not identical. Abby was 5lb 11oz and Izzie was 5lb 7 oz. Unfortunately they're a little smaller now as they've both lost around 12% in weight. We had to spend last weekend in hospital again for observation. It's believed they had too much jaundice which was contributing to their sleepiness. Abby required light therapy. Izzie just required a bit of watching over. We're all home now and they're feeding a bit easier.

They're giving Jon and I a run for our money. I don't think we've ever been so sleep deprived in our lives. So much that every time I wake up from a nap I have hallucinations that I'm holding the babies and I freak out and try to find them in the blankets. Honest to god, it takes me a good 30 seconds or so of routing around the bed to realise that I was not holding them in my sleep and that they're in their cot, safe and sound. :)

I used to do that all the time Ashley - even feeling under the pillow in case the baby was under there! Glad to hear the feeding is getting easier though.

Glad the girls are feeling better. Those dreams sound scary!  :o Hopefully it will get a bit easier for you soon!

Ashley, I found out today that a woman who works in the same office as me (another department) is pregnant with triplets:o

Everyone was cooing & saying how blooming lovely it is, and I kept thinking OMG!  How hard would that be?!

Congratulations and well done!  Being a parent is the most difficult job you will ever have, but it is also the most rewarding job you will ever have.

I used to love to stand by my son's crib and watch him sleep.  Then there are grandchildren.......

I still wake up with a jerk sometimes convinced my LO is under my covers and she's been in her own room for seven months!  It's such a start!  Who knew they could make a person so tired?  I can't imagine with twins.  It does get better though--once you start to wake up a bit. :)

Congratulations Ashley, they are beautiful and interesting that they weren't much smaller than when my DD was born at 5lbs 15oz and she dropped to 5lbs and didn't really start gaining weight until she was about 6 weeks old when we switched to formula...so I can understand a bit what you're going through and those hallucinations are strange aren't they? I had one where I believed I was being chased by a life size steak, cheese & green chili burrito from Taco Bell.
