Employment in the UK
« on: March 05, 2003, 03:54:43 AM »
Hello all. I have a question, I'm not even sure when I'm going to moving to the UK, but I know if I'm married I can get a work permit for a year.

Does anyone know of any agencies that I could contact to get info?

Thanks,

Dani Dean

If you are married to a British citizen (or citizen of another member country of the European Onion) you can get a visa that will allow you to work, if you are still married after one year then the visa can be made permanent.

Do you want info about the visa process - if so visit the British Embassy's web site.  If you want information about specific jobs in a specific city then you'll probably be better off waiting until nearer the time that you are going over as I doubt that many agencies would have much interest in you months ahead of time, and before you even have your visa.
