Hee hee, I like the sign!  ;D  Now where's the photo of poo in a tree?

I think you need to post that one - it was your photo!  :P

I was wondering when you were going to look at this sign photo!  :)

Sorry, I saw your photo before and somehow thought I'd already responded to it.  Maybe I was interrupted or something?  Alas, I've never been able to figure out how to post photos on threads.  I do know how to make one into my avatar, but for some reason I'm not keen to have a poo tree as my profile picture.  :P

Well that would be a statement, I guess...  :D

I seen a sign today that reminded me of this thread, someone put one up that says "The Dog-poo fairy does not work here" and had a cartoon of a dog dressed as a fairy  ;D

Every time I see a dog poo tree around here, it's positioned close to a dog poo bin that's overflowing. Gotta blame the local council for that one.

This post really made me laugh! We have a beautiful park near us that is on the Merrimac River and people will leave the bags of poo at the edges of the path to pick up on the way back so they don't have to walk around with it....They seem to think the rest of us like to walk with it though! Maybe they can use decorative bags to make it more festive. Jack O Lanterns for Halloween, Snowmen for the winter months.........
Patiently waiting for visas!

I feel that as a Brit myself I should help you all out. Flinging bags of dog poo in to trees is a tradition in certain parts of the country, it is a centuries old custom that is said to ward off evil spirits, (as well as working class youngsters wearing cheap sports gear and knockoff Burberry baseball caps) from certain areas where house prices may otherwise be affected, particularly in Hampstead and Islington.

This thread is cracking me up!
I have a (little)dog who likes to back up before doing his business... and he prefers to back up against something. (I swear I have NO idea where this came from, I didnt get him until he was older!) Its not a problem, actually kind of handy, when he backs up to a bush. Its not so great when he does it on the chainlink fence. Lets just say my neighbor didnt think it was as funny as I did to notice little 'climbing poos' along the property line.
*A spray down with the garden hose made the neighbor happy and kept my younger brother amused for ten minutes.*

I have a friend who just rescued a dog from the pound and he wont stop climbing trees. I've never seen a dog climbs trees like this before. He injured a foot once and she had to call a firetruck to help another time. Hes a big hunting dog mix too, not a little guy at all. When I saw the thread title I thought maybe there were a bunch of dogs who climbed trees in the UK...

That would be quite a talented dog if he could balance on 3 legs while up in a tree.
